Cabo San Lucas Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
San Francisco took on Cabo San Lucas in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Steve Beauregard, in particular, was fantastic. The San Francisco left-hander helped his team snag the win, 3-0. Beauregard, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 5.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 1 walk. At 55-38, the Earthquakes claim second place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.

Jim Crumm had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for San Francisco. With the bases loaded and the Earthquakes leading 1-0, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Crumm told the San Francisco News.
