Sorrells Impresses in Hawaii Loss
The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Bison grabbed a win, 9-7, at Ram Brewery Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Hawaii pitcher Miles Sorrells. Sorrells went 0 innings and allowed no runs. Mike McMasters got credit for the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 6.1 innings.

With one out in the bottom of the sixth, Bobby Wilcox put Bighorn in front, 6-3, with a 2-run single. The Bison went on to win the ballgame.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Hawaii manager Naoki Okada. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."

At 40-53, the Bison are currently last in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
