West Island designated hitter Jeremy Owusu had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-5, to Chicago in 10 innings. Owusu was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Earning his 25th save for Chicago was Joe Umlah. Chicago is now 62-45, West Island 59-49.

Chicago used the timely hitting of Juan Araque to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Eclipse on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
