Blazers Win Squeaker, 6-5, Over Warriors
|
Kasey Mayo knocked in 3 runs to help Bloomington beat Walnut Creek, 6-5. Mayo produced 1 single and 1 home run. Bloomington is now 61-45, while Walnut Creek is 62-44.
Mayo had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 3-1 fastball from Mike Traver, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Blazers a 6-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Mayo.
"This team's hitting on all cylinders," said Blazers manager Scott Andrews.
