Bighorn catcher Malcolm Johnson had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bison dropped a 7-5 decision to Montreal at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Johnson was 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Montreal is now 50-40.

Montreal used a timely hit from J.N. Martin to get the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Mounties ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Martin.
