Late Rally Earns Eagle Rock 7-2 Win
The Walnut Creek Warriors could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Danny Logan into a win. Instead, the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners prevailed, 7-2. Logan threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Eric Kimbrough, now 2-1, was credited with the win in 2.1 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 0. With the victory, the Ridge Runners record stands at 36-55.

Carl Farley came through with a big-time hit for Eagle Rock. The second baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Ridge Runners manager Paco Berroa. "This one was nice to get."
