The first-place Bloomington Blazers picked up another win.

In a low-scoring affair between the Bloomington Blazers and the Pennsylvania Butterflies, pitcher Mario Solis was the difference between victory and defeat. The Bloomington left-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Blazers win. Bloomington reliever Mario Solis got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Will Cabrera was tagged with the loss.

Bryan Criner, who is tied for 6th in the TML in triples with 5, helped out the Bloomington cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.

"Mario kept his poise and got the job done," said Bloomington manager Scott Andrews. "He was outstanding."

The Blazers lead the Thurman Munson League East Division by 4 games.
