The Cabo San Lucas Toreros had to reckon with Hawaii Honu hurler Yun-fat Liang. Liang, who finished 5th in the TML in ERA with 3.83 in 2059, overwhelmed the opposition in the 8-1 Honu triumph. The slumping Toreros have dropped 8 in a row.

Les Hutchinson had a big bases-clearing double for the Honu in the bottom of the first inning. With Hawaii leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Oliver de Leeuw and swatted a double to left. It was his 16th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Honu ahead, 4-0.

Cabo San Lucas manager Labib Sarahani, after the latest defeat, said, "We've got to clean it up. We've got to play better."
