Riding the 3-hit performance of the two-time All-Star Jonathan Sibiga, the Mexico City Luchadores defeated the Montreal Mounties, 6-2. Picking up his 1st save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Cody Paskert. Mexico City is now 50-52, while Montreal is 61-43.

Rich Van Fleet hit a 2-run home run off Warren Foradori in the bottom of the third, which put the Luchadores ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, Van Fleet had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

Van Fleet told the Mexico City Gazette: "I think I thrive on conflict. It brings out my best."
