4-1 Loss Extends Cabo San Lucas Losing Streak
Eureka starter Harley Lowrie put a stranglehold on the Cabo San Lucas offense. The right-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Hornets to a 4-1 win. The Hornets sit in third place in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division with a record of 56-46.

The Hornets got a big at-bat from shortstop Adam Pappalardo. For the game, Pappalardo was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Eureka a 3-1 lead.

"Watch and learn," said Pappalardo. "This is what good pitching looks like."
