Texans Snatch Late Win
Texans designated hitter Josh Guerriero put his stamp on his team's 9-6 win over the Eureka Hornets. Guerriero was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 for Dallas in the contest. The winner was Yun-fat Liang in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Ryan Sartore took the loss. The Texans win now puts them at 48-54.

The Hornets had been locked in a 6-6 tie with the Texans going into the bottom of the eighth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old third baseman Jimmy Eastes came to the plate. Eastes hit a bases-clearing double on a 1-1 sinker from Eureka hurler Ryan Sartore. It was Eastes's 15th double of the year.

"Don't let his youth fool you," said Texans manager Lester Burrow. "Josh knows what he's doing out there."
