Blazers Stumble, Lose to Honu
The Hawaii Honu thumped the Bloomington Blazers, 9-2, at Aloha Stadium. Rafael Santiago was a big reason his team got the win. Santiago went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Colin Keller got credit for the win, improving to 4-6. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. The Blazers, now 35-51, have lost 4 in a row.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Honu grabbed the lead when Santiago hit his 22nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Jared Simms made it 4-2, Hawaii.

"We were firing on all cylinders," said Honu manager Naoki Okada.
