Davidson Blasts Mounties, Eclipse Take Game 6, 5-4
The Chicago Eclipse and the Montreal Mounties will take the LCS Round to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation at Mount Royal Grounds, the Eclipse beat the Mounties, 5-4, in extra innings to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Chicago catcher Brad Davidson went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times.

Chicago used a timely hit from Jason Bennett to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Eclipse ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Montreal manager Thomas Hughes.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Mount Royal Grounds in Montreal.
