Cougars Hammered by Wooten, Drop Game 4 to Blue Jays
Handed an opportunity to take a commanding lead in the League Championship Series, the Victoria Cougars could not close the deal.

Game 4 went into extra frames and the Toronto Blue Jays emerged victorious, taking a 13-inning, 12-10 win. Toronto third baseman Dan Wooten was 3-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 in the win at Cougars Park to drag the Blue Jays back to parity. The clubs are now tied 2-2 in the best-of-7 series.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 13th, until Wooten delivered big-time for Toronto, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Juan Trujillo. The game-changing hit put the Blue Jays on top, 12-10.

"There's no quit in this team," said Blue Jays manager Bryan Fulcher.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Cougars Park in Victoria.
