ThunderBolts Suffer 8-2 Loss to Boomers
The Schaumburg Boomers got a stellar performance from pitcher Seth Bol, who handcuffed the Windy City offense en route to a 8-2 win at Kings Ballpark. Bol, now 2-1, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing no earned runs. The 5th-place Boomers are now 21-20, the ThunderBolts 24-17.

Keith Chambers contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that propelled Schaumburg to the win.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Schaumburg manager Bill DesMarais.
