The Savannah Peaches topped the Wichita Storm, 19-10, with second baseman Leo Carrizales playing a big role. Carrizales was 2-2 with a home run and 4 walks, while scoring 4 and driving in 2 for the Peaches in the win. With the win, Savannah upped its record to 89-71.

Savannah catcher Mario Gonzlez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a slider to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 20th hit of the season and put the Peaches ahead, 12-10.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Wichita manager Daniel Carrasco.
