Achbar Hits 2 home runs in Boomers Win

The Schaumburg Boomers bested the Evansville Otters, 10-4, at Rocketmen Ballpark. Jon Achbar was named player of the game. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Ray Cook was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. The Boomers go to 18-15, putting them third in the Frontier League Midwestern Division.
Achbar had a critical at-bat in the top of the second for Schaumburg, coming through with a 3-run home run to put Schaumburg in front, 3-0.
