Tribbles Run Win Streak to 10
|
In a well-pitched game between the Rosewell Tribbles and the Sedona Sabercats, pitcher Danny Delgado was fantastic. The Rosewell right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-0. Now 107-51, the Tribbles have won 10 in a row.
Rosewell used the hitting of R.J. Romero to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Tribbles on top, 2-0. For the game, Romero had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Rosewell manager Leonel Alba said.
