Evansville Otters starter Jeremy Giroux was in fine form against the Florence Y'alls at Rocketmen Ballpark, leading his team to a 5-0 win. Getting the save was Shawn Lesser, his 1st. Evansville now has a 4-game win streak.

Shane Scarpino was a prime factor in the win for the Otters. In the bottom of the sixth with no one out, the 22-year old first baseman hit a 2-run home run. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We had a good game plan," Giroux said, "and we were able to execute it."
