Otters Take Nail-Biter Over Y'alls
|
Mike Potter did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Florence Y'alls from losing, 4-3, to the Evansville Otters at Rocketmen Ballpark. Potter was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Evansville has now won 3 in a row.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Evansville shortstop Scott Benham, facing Andy Brown, had a solo home run. It gave the Otters the 4-3 win.
"There's no quit in this team," said Otters manager Matt Bell.
