Benevidez Stars in 10-5 Totems Win
Led by Franklin Benevidez, the Victoria Totems defeated the Paradise Island Pirates, 10-5. Benevidez went 3-3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 6 for the Totems. Edgar Adame notched his 3rd save of the season. The Totems improved their record to 101-55 with the win over Paradise Island.

With Victoria trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Benevidez hit a fastball from Tony Carnero for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Totems ahead, 4-2.

"When the ball finds the sweet spot," said Benevidez, "I can't complain."
