Fenton Stars in 11-6 Commies Win
Commies center fielder Justin Fenton left his imprint on his team's 11-6 win over the Thunder Bay Lighting. Fenton was 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs for Caribbean in the contest. Mashiro Kondo snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 3 innings. He's now 2-0 on the season. Aaron Land earned the save for Caribbean, his 3rd.

Caribbean catcher Brian Hurt contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the seventh. With two down, he hit a sinker to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 71st hit of the season and put the Commies ahead, 9-6.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Fenton, "one at-bat at a time."
