Revenge Lose By a Run at Rockville
Barbados got a decent performance from pitcher Jesus Lopez, but it wasn't enough to beat the Rockville Rangers. Rockville won the Brewbaker Memorial Stadium contest, 5-4. Lopez threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. The win was credited to Val Ledesma in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jesus Lopez took the loss. Rockville, at 106-48, is 13 games up in the RCL R Tony Fernandez Division.

Catcher Oscar Mendez made an impact for Rockville, when he swatted a 2-run double off Jesus Lopez in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Mendez was 2-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"We found a way to get it done," Mendez said.
