Caribou Overwhelm Cyclones, 14-6
Frobisher Bay defeated Brooklyn, 14-6, in large part due to 19-year old catcher Franklin Almanza. Almanza drove in 5 runs. The catcher had 1 double and 1 home run for the Caribou. The second-place Caribou have won 7 in a row.

The Caribou got a big boost from right fielder Pablo Honesto who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Cyclones hurler Luis Aguilar. It was his 17th walk of the season and put Frobisher Bay on top, 2-1.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Honesto told the Frobisher Bay Herald.
