Miners Sneak Past Crushers, 3-2

The Sussex County Miners got a stellar performance from pitcher John Winge, who handcuffed the Lake Erie offense en route to a 3-2 win at Commodores Ballpark. Lake Erie has now lost 10 consecutive games.
Pierre-Yves Bernard was the walk-off hero for Sussex County. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Miners center fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Bernard said.
