In a seemingly effortless performance, Eddie Galloza of the Montreal Mounties shot down the Manhattan Slice, 4-0, on 4 hits.

"Eddie was just locating so well and using his pitches," Montreal manager Julián Martínez said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Galloza recorded 4 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Manhattan manager Giampaolo Marcovicci said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."

Checking out his stats for the season, Galloza has notched 6 wins and 8 losses in 18 starts. His ERA is 4.25 and he's struck out 67 batters in 110 innings.
