Bryan Anderson left his imprint on the 5-4 Washington win against the Lake Erie Crushers. Anderson, who is tied for 6th in the FL in total bases with 43, was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Washington reliever John Pritzker picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jason Jackson shouldered the loss. With the win, the Wild Things improved to 10-8.
Washington first baseman Bob Griffin had a key at-bat for the Wild Things in the bottom of the seventh inning. Facing Lake Erie pitcher Brian Fedor, Griffin hit a 2-run double to make the score 5-3, Washington. For the day, he went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Griffin told the Washington Gazette.
