Montreal center fielder Lou Soper had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Wichita Storm, 22-4. The Cardinals, now 97-52, have won 11 in a row.

With Montreal trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the third, Soper hit a fastball from Ricky Sanchez for a grand slam home run. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Cardinals ahead, 5-3.

"The team is playing at a high level," said Cardinals manager Emmanuel Even.
