The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners knocked off the Mexico City Luchadores, 10-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Eagle Rock pitcher and Ecatepec, Mexico, native Miguel Arroyo had an outstanding performance. With the win, Eagle Rock goes to 52-49, while the Luchadores fall to 47-54.

Jeremy Nowell had a big 3-run home run for the Ridge Runners in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Eagle Rock leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Duane Alcock, who is on pace to win 21 games this season, and punished it. The result was his 16th home run of the season, which put the Ridge Runners on top, 6-0.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Arroyo said.
