Brooklyn Cyclones starter Mike Black pitched his team past the Manchester Mooses in 10 innings, 3-2. The loss makes Manchester 75-74.

Brooklyn needed the clutch hitting of Vicente Zarate to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cyclones on top, 3-2. For the game, Zarate had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Brooklyn manager Jerry Cruz said.
