Benefiting from Alex Vega's productive game, the Montreal Cardinals downed the Wichita Storm, 23-1. Vega went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 6 for the Cardinals. The Cardinals, at 95-52, have now won 9 straight.
