Capitales Bruise Miners, 15-3
Quebec starter Tom Fralick pitched effectively against the Sussex County Miners at Commodores Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 15-3 win. The Miners drop to 6-9 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2044 season.

Quebec used the bat of William Egerton to get the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Capitales ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Egerton.
