Mooses Win with Late Rally
The Manchester Mooses, despite a fine performance by Brooklyn pitcher Rich Lewis, grabbed a 3-2 win in 16 innings at Moose Head Stadium. Lewis allowed no runs over 5.1 innings. The Mooses bumped their record to 75-72 with this win.

Manchester got a clutch hit from Juan Martinez. The first baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 16th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"I was a little disappointed," said Brooklyn manager Jerry Cruz. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
