Rocketmen Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Evansville Otters and Trois-Rivieres Aigles.

Trois-Rivieres center fielder Juan Betancur was a significant contributor in his team's 5-4 triumph over the Evansville Otters. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Trois-Rivieres. Trois-Rivieres reliever Jorge Davila was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Jesse Reaves.

With Trois-Rivieres leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Betancur hit a changeup from Jim Sheets for a 2-run single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Aigles ahead, 4-1.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Trois-Rivieres manager Sean Laster.

Trois-Rivieres, now 9-6, has gotten their season off to a good start.
