Soper Powers Cardinals Offense
The Montreal Cardinals romped over the Sedona Sabercats, 12-3, at Denis Coderre Stadium. Lou Soper led the way. He was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Montreal. Montreal bumps their record to 93-52 with the win.

The Cardinals got a big hit from shortstop Angelo Camargo. In the bottom of the sixth, Camargo smacked a bases-clearing triple off Sedona pitcher Carlos Gonzalez. It was his 4th triple of the season. Suddenly, the Cardinals were ahead, 4-3.

"No one likes losing," said Sedona manager . "We've hit a tough patch, but we're going to get through it."
