Ambition Hammered by Miller, Drop Game 3 to Black Bears
Riding the 4-hit performance of second baseman Steve Miller, the Thunder Bay Black Bears stopped the visiting Indianapolis Ambition, 7-4, in Game 3 of the Triple A World Series. Miller was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Black Bears, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Miller had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Black Bears went on to win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Thunder Bay manager Qi-chang Ec.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Edgbaston in Thunder Bay.
