Mooses Suffer 6-1 Loss to Thunder Bay
The Thunder Bay Lighting dealt the Manchester Mooses a 6-1 loss at Lightning Grove. Sandy Estrada was the star on offense. He was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The 4th-place Mooses have lost 4 straight games.

The Mooses had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Lighting going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old catcher Juan Corpus came to the plate. Corpus hit a run-scoring double on a 1-2 fastball from Manchester hurler Ricky Betancourt. It was Corpus's 25th double of the year.

Corpus attributed the win to "concerted effort and focus."
