Campbell 5-for-6 for Slammers
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Joilet's 7-6 win over Schaumburg today, right fielder Chris Campbell was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Jackalopes Ballpark.

"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Campbell said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."

Chris Campbell flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off D.J. Coble in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, walked in the 11th and singled in the 13th.

This season Campbell has hit at a .348 clip and produced 1 run batted in, 1 home run and 5 runs.
