The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters knotted up the Double A League Championship at Albert Park, thanks in large part to shortstop Ceasario Buozzi. Buozzi went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times as he overpowered the Wauwatosa Indians, enabling Niagara Falls to grab the 13-4 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

In the top of the fifth, Niagara Falls catcher Josh Spring had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Spring stroked a 3-run home run to center. It made the score 8-1, Niagara Falls. For the game, he was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Pipe Fitters manager Bryant Thomas said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 9th , 2062 at Pipe Fitters Park in Niagara Falls.
