5 Straight Wins for Bison
A 4-RBI performance from Vic Petley, who is rated as the 44th best prospect by BNN, helped the Bighorn Bison beat the San Francisco Earthquakes, 9-6. Zach Phillips, 3-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. Mel Ibarra got credit for the save for Bighorn. It was his 10th of the year.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Bison grabbed the lead when Petley hit his 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Rosario Lulli made it 9-5, Bighorn.

"We're all smiles after that win," Petley told the Bighorn News.

With the win, the Bison have a record of 38-48.
