Pitcher Jonathan Anderson was sensational for the Schaumburg Boomers in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Sussex County Miners. Anderson received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. With the win, Schaumburg goes to 2-2.

In his 84-pitch effort, Anderson allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 6 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 11.

"I thought we played a nice game," Anderson told the Schaumburg Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
