Aguilar Socks It to Cougars, Cracks 6 Hits
Willie Aguilar was at the head of a Frobisher Bay hit parade at Pittodrie Stadium. The right fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 6 hits, sparking the Caribou to a nice 18-7 victory over the Prince George Cougars.

"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Aguilar told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."

Cougars skipper Sergio Martínez said later that the club gave up "too much plate."

"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

Willie Aguilar doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Andres Barrios in the 7th, doubled in the 7th and walked in a run in the 8th.

In his 2064 season totals, Aguilar has 27 home runs, .326 BA, .474 OBP, 116 RBIs and 105 runs scored.
