Caribou Hammered by Torres, Drop Game 3 to Pirates
Behind a bravura effort from first baseman Juan Torres, the Paradise Island Pirates topped the Frobisher Bay Caribou by the score of 5-2 and got their first win in the 2064 League Championship Series. Torres went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Pirates. The win narrows Paradise Island's deficit to 2-1.

Paradise Island right fielder Tim Nichols helped the Pirates go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Nichols hit a run-scoring single off Frobisher Bay pitcher Alex Torres.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Torres.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Thursday, October 23rd , 2064.
