Milwaukee Advances to Round 2
|
After their 9-2 win today at Golden Gate Park over the San Francisco Earthquakes, the Milwaukee Millers will advance to the Round 2. Milwaukee won the series by a 4-1 margin.
Leading the way for the Millers was center fielder Jake Elijah, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.
"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."
The Round 2 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
