Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Seagulls beat the Peacocks.

The Clearwater Seagulls downed the Murraysville Peacocks, 9-4, the largest share of the credit belonging to right fielder Aaron Rowe. On the day, Rowe was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Seagulls. Clearwater starter Randy Sellman was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-2.

With Clearwater leading 4-3 in the bottom of the second, Rowe batted against Murraysville pitcher Danny Baldwin. Rowe hit a fastball to left for a grand slam home run. His 20th home run of the season put the Seagulls on top, 8-3.

"I was hoping to make good contact," said Rowe. "I wasn't trying to knock the snot out of it."

Clearwater has now won 4 in a row.
