Vivar Blasts Armadillos, Coal Miners Take Game 2, 12-6
The Antioch Coal Miners defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 12-6, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Making an impact was first baseman Oscar Vivar, who went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win moves Antioch into a 1-1 tie with Amarillo in the series.

Jimmy Knauff, the Antioch catcher, contributed a run-scoring double in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 2-0, Coal Miners. For the game, Knauff was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Knauff.
