Indians Suffer 7-3 Road Loss
|
The Black Mountain Mountaineers picked up a win at Peak Park, dropping the Wauwatosa Indians, 7-3. Andy Nixon was the difference-maker. Andy Jones snagged the win in relief. He goes to 9-3 on the season. Ekagra Lolla suffered the loss. Ron Larson, credited with the save, is now 30 for 34 in save opportunities.
Black Mountain took a 4-3 lead on Bruce Morey's 7th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Morey hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Wauwatosa pitcher Ekagra Lolla visibly frustrated.
"No complaints from me," said Mountaineers manager Mario Encarnación. "I like what I saw out there."
Black Mountain, at 72-68, holds down 4th place in the RCL AA Gene Mauch Division.
