Leeney, Coal Miners Sink Bumblebees Again in Game 2
Riding the 2-hit performance of left fielder Junior Leeney, the Antioch Coal Miners stopped the visiting Pasadena Bumblebees, 6-5, in Game 2 of the Triple A League Championship. Leeney was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Coal Miners, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

With the game tied, 5-5, in the bottom of the seventh, Leeney had a key at-bat for Antioch. With the bases empty, Leeney hit a solo home run off Matt Cross, making the score 6-5, Coal Miners.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Coal Miners manager Jordan Hay said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, October 9th , 2061 at The Hole in Pasadena.
