The Bighorn Bison defeated the Havana Stogies, 7-4, in Game 4 of the Wild Card Round. Making an impact was right fielder Tony Mares, who slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win moves Bighorn into a 2-2 tie with Havana in the series.

A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the third. That's when Mares hit a curveball from Curt Gangemi for a 2-run home run, putting Bighorn up, 3-0.

"We're happy," Mares told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ram Brewery Ballpark in Laramie.
