Ducrocq, Nutcrackers Too Much for Islanders
|
Thimotée Ducrocq had a 4-RBI game, during Normal's 9-4 triumph over the Coronado Islanders. Ducrocq contributed 2 singles, 2 doubles, and 1 walk to his team's cause. Normal reliever Tony Salcedo was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Ross Lane. The Nutcrackers now own a record of 58-81.
Ricardo Lozada came through with a big-time hit for Normal. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"There's losing your stroke and finding your stroke," said Ducrocq. "I guess I've found mine."
