Big Day with Bat: Hutchence 5-for-6
Frobisher Bay shortstop Lachlan Hutchence had a big day at Pittodrie Stadium against the Prince George Cougars. The 18-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 28-3 Caribou triumph over Prince George.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Hutchence said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Lachlan Hutchence hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Oscar Delgado in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
