Little 3-for-5 in Commies Win
Behind a fine performance from Jaylen Little, the Caribbean Commies knocked off the Easton Caterpillars, 24-12. Little was 3-5 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 6 for the Commies. The win went to Carmem Verdasca in relief. His record improves to 7-6. Steve Davila took the loss. Roberto Vasquez closed it out for Caribbean, earning his 2nd save.

With Caribbean leading 17-10 in the bottom of the sixth, Little came up to bat against Easton pitcher Carlos Rodriguez. Little hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Commies on top, 21-10.

"Things will change for us," said Easton manager Mekonnen Asani. "When things change, we'll get clicking."

Caribbean, at 54-82, holds down 5th place in the RCL R John Mayberry Division.
